Rainbow
River wide
And river deep.
Holding sunlight
That I seek.
And yet the seven seas
Can travel
In a drop of rain.
So hide the rainbow
From the sky.
Shield its colours from my eye.
And still its brightness
Lives on wings
Of every butterfly.
